UN Women in Türkiye invites eligible civil society organizations to apply for Small Grants ranging from USD 2,500 to USD 30,000 to support the development and strengthening of institutional capacities of women’s civil society organizations and CSOs working on gender equality.
This Call for Applications is launched under the project “Strong Civic Space for Equality and Women’s Empowerment – Phase II”, implemented by UN Women with the financial support of the European Union. The project aims to strengthen the role of civil society as an agent of transformative change for gender equality and women’s empowerment in Türkiye.
UN Women plans to award approximately 10 small grants through this call.
Eligible applicants
Applicants must be women’s civil society organizations or civil society organizations working on gender equality, legally established and operating in Türkiye for at least 3 years.
Eligible activities
Small Grants may support only activities related to institutional capacity development, such as:
introducing and improving organizational systems, tools, and processes;
training of workforce in technical and managerial skills; and,
supporting with equipment such as copiers, scanners, printers, laptops and computers as long as the cost of such equipment is limited to 30% of the proposed small grant budget or USD5,000, whichever is lower.
Small grants are not intended to finance programmatic activities targeting external beneficiaries.
The proposed budget must be between USD 2,500 (minimum) and USD 30,000 (maximum), and the requested budget must be submitted in Turkish Liras. The proposed duration should be up to 12 months.

Applicants should explicitly state the call for applications number (TUR- SG –2026- 01) and your organization’s name in the subject section of the email correspondence.
All documents related to application must be attached into one single e-mail. Applications sent through online filing tools will not be considered.
